3D printing is the coming revolution. It’s already possible to buy a home machine for significantly under £1000, which will enable you to print a vast range of tools, replacement parts, sculptures, and other objects of interest.
Forget the media hype: 3D printing is not all about printing guns, or replacement hips, or complete houses. As far as the everyday user is concerned, 3D printing is about enabling us to build whatever pops into our heads, using the wide range of design tools available.
You can find out a lot more about 3D printing on my blog, 3D Genius.
